To those of you who insist that irony is dead, I refer you to the March 28th, 2002 entry in this livejournal.

If you didn't know already, Ambrosia Software has released the excellent threequel Escape Velocity: Nova. Here's a little easter egg I encountered while traveling through the Nova universe. Pretty cute, guys.

A billboard on the freeway says "In God We Trust". Do we? I don't. I don't trust any deity who hurls earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes, and deadly viruses in humanity's direction. And if God was so trustworthy, why did he let planes slam into our towers? I think we need to reexamine how much trust God deserves.

P.S. Just because something is in the Bible or the Koran or any religious text, doesn't make it fact. Come on, people!

Live from Ann Arbor -- it's Spring Break. :)

There's not too much to say at this point, other than the stupid picketers protesting "GEO" or something are really annoying. However, because they didn't want me to cross the picket line, they directed me to this nice little coffeeshop where I can plug my laptop into the internet -- it's only a couple of blocks from the hotel I'm staying at. Now I won't have to go for long periods without AIM or email. (sigh of relief)

I'm sick. :( This may put a slight damper on my spring break plans, but I am still committed to going to Ann Arbor and having a good time -- sore throat or no.

Tips For Getting On My Good Side

1. Don't start out a conversation by calling me a gayass or a retard.
2. Don't lie about meeting me in person.
3. Don't try to be mysterious.

Next week is spring break for me. It looks like I'll be doing a little something called A Trojan in Ann Arbor -- I'm spending part of the week there, and I want to have fun while I'm there! If you want to hang out, or simply have suggestions for great places to see, by all means email me.

Since I've neglected my blog for a whole week, let's catch up, shall we?

- Midterms are over! Spring break is in a week! Woo hoo!
- I haven't mentioned it yet, but I ordered a new iMac three weeks ago. Estimated ship time is 3-5 weeks, so I'm waiting patiently until then. After five weeks comes the unbridled fury.
- I've met a really special person who lives in Portland, Maine. Her name is Julianna, and she's a lot of fun to talk to, even though it's not in person. Her website is pretty nifty, but it would be better if it was a blog and not a livejournal. ;)
- Bring me the head of Fox Mulder! Pretty creepy stuff... and only ten episodes left.
